Red Lobster

Now Im not a big fish eater, so going to red lobster made me a little skeptical. I didnt know what to expect when I got there, Now the service wasnt all that great, I didnt enjoy it all too much. The hostess was kind of crabby when we got there, haha crabby( Its a seafood restaurant) but thats beside the point. My party all showed up at different times, I got there first and I was all set to go and get a table and wait for the others. The hostess told me that I would have to wait up front becasue they dont seat broken parties, they have to do it all at once. The rest of the party slowly started to straggle in we finally got to sit about 15 minutes after I got there. The server had and attitude when she came over, like she didnt want to be waiting on us ( I should say we didnt leave her a big tip). But I was surprised when the food came out, everything was great. It was delicious. The bread was my favorite part. I ended up getting a salad, The shrimp and lobster basket, and some french fries. Everything was to die for. I would never go back for the service, but i will definatley go back for the food. Everyone that I went with all said that they never recieved service the way we did when I was there. So if your looking for a great place to get fresh seafood, really go out and get some of the lobster during lobsterfest.

Hartmans Family Restaurant

For 4 years I worked at this nice little ice cream shop/ family restaurant nestled in the Slate Belt area. They had great home style cooking for everyone to enjoy, and a little something sweet for all the customers. Hartmans also made their very own homemade Ice cream. The icecream was so good on a nice hot summers day to help you cool off from the heat. All the employees were very friendly ( Most Of The Time) :-) I always felt it to be a great work environment, I really felt at home during the years of employment inside Hartmans. Shortly after I was employed at the begining of 2006 business started to slowly disipate customer by customer. There would always be here say about hartmans closing their doors for years but nothing ever happened. All the employees still went to work with a smile on their face even though the servers would leave with only $25 a night on a friday! It was getting to be really sad. The owners slowly began to fire people, lay people off, and cut hours constantly. Most of the times the employees would wonder when we would all hear news of the place closing down. As the economy began to get worse and worse, the prices on the menu would go higher and higher. Pretty soon all of the customers began to head out and find a new place to go. Then unfortunatly as 2009 came to an end, the employees began to hear through the grape vine that they were out of jobs and hartmans was closed forever. No body believed it until it made the front page of the express times. The owner was so shady he took all the money that the business had left and fled the area, never telling his employees they had no where to work any more. Many hearts were broken, many tears were shed. Its very hard to believe how attached you come to a restaurant until its gone forever.

Red Robin

I love going to RED ROBINS. The environment is so infectious with the happiness. Every time I go there I leave with a big smile!! I usuall always get the same thing when i go there, i dont really mix things up all too often. I usually get the french onion soup or the onion ring tower, and I get the whisky rivers bbq burger. It doesn't matter which location I go to everything is always consistant and great. I dont believe that I have ever recieved a bad experience while I was at RED ROBINS. Every one is always so friendly, and helpful. The servers and the management are prompt in greeting and checking back on the guests. Every server is completly different, each one is unique in their own ways. Most of the servers are bubbly and out going, I really enjoy going for the server interaction, it really is great! I like going to the RED ROBINS in Northampton crossings because they have a deal called movie madness, you can get a dinner for two and movie tickets are included in your dinner price so you can just go over and get your movie tickets right after dinner and avoid the lines at the theatre. I swear every time I go its a totally different experience. I recomend anyone who has never gone; Go Check It Out!!! I hope everyone has a great time like I do when I go, you wont be disapointed, you'll have a great time!

Quakertown Farmers Market

Ive never been to a farmers market before I came to Q Mart a few months ago. It is a hugh place full of good homemade foods, candy, theres furniture, movies, you can get your hair cut or even record your own cds. Its basically a you name it they have it place. They really do have something for everyone. I love going and just seeing all of the people there, I usually go on saturdays or sundays so whenever im there the place is packed full of people. When I go I usually build up an appetite before i get there because all of their food is amazing. I usually get a gyro with french fries and a soda. And sometime for something sweet i get and elephant ear, for those of you that dont know what an elephant ear is, its flattened fried dough, with cinnamon sugar or a fruit topping on it it is so good i absolutly love them. Q Mart is a great place to go to spend some time with the family or to just get away with some friends for a few hours. My friends and i enjoy going there, there are so many things for you to do or buy. They even have a flee market outside during the warmer months for people who like to go to flee markets. They have alot of bargains and good deals on so much stuff and if you want to go grocery shopping, everything is FRESH and locally grown stright from the farm. So for those of you that like the concept of farm to table, qmart is the place for you to check out.

olive garden

Just the other day I went out to eat at olive garden. the service was great. It was better than it usually is. There was a little bit of a wait when we got there, about a 20 minute wait, which isnt unusual on a friday night. When we finally sat down at the table the server came over very quickly and got us out drinks asap. She was very friendly and outgoing and tried to make the whole experience personal, she was cracking jokes, and we were having a great time. The food came out very quickly as well I had Pasta e fagile soup and a basket of bread to start. For my main course I had chicken alfredo, The chicken was grilled and was very moist and tender. The noodles were very creamy it was so good, im getting hungry just thinking about it. I ever eat desert when i go out but i decided to try some when i was there on friday. I had caramel chocolate gellato, it was so creamy and rich, it was very chocolaty. After we got the check, the waitress came back over after we paid and she left us a note on the back of the check telling us she loved waiting on us and we had to go back again soon. It really was a great experience it is officially my favorite restaurant. I love Itallian food, It makes me feel at home, its so comforting to go to Olive Garden. When I go to Olive Garden I really do feel like family.
